在英国的公司, 一般是每一年底都会进行 salary review, 也就是会评估一下你是否得需要涨工资. 一般情况就是每年涨个 10%, 有的公司会每 6 个月进行评估一次.
年底了, 那天在公司庆祝拿下一大单, 开香槟, 我很神秘的给属下每个送去一信封, 里面有这么一信:
Further to our recent discussions, I have great pleasure in confirming your salary will increase to £XXXX per annum with effect from 1st January 2015. All other terms and conditions of employment remain the same. Your role of software developer is a key role in the Development Team supporting our growth and expansion, in 2015 and beyond, and this increase is designed to reflect your hard work and contribution. I would like to personally thank you for your ongoing commitment to XXXXX and wish you the very best success in your role in 2015. Please sign and return one copy of this letter as acceptance of these terms. I, (your name) hereby accept this change of terms and conditions of employment.

我两种都喜欢.行吧?经理.
1)如果我打算离职了,喜欢奖金,长期呆的话还是加点低薪吧;
2)是否说”属下”比较合适一些;
3)每年10%,而且还2次,英帝好任性;

我也觉得,如果快要离职了当然是拿年终奖金,如果继续呆当然是加工资比较好!
我在的公司是每年发资金,不在年底,要在第二年三月,而且年底时不知道自己能得多少资金.工资也会涨一点点,感觉还赶不上通货膨胀.
有更好的发展,有时年终奖真的不算什么.但如果可以两全其美那就更好.
